The miserables....

This was the first time I went back to school, and it was only for a couple hours.

You see, we finished, as I explained yesterday, last Friday for study leave, but unfortunately my music class had not finished learning our set works for our exam. So this meant we had to come in today to finish annotating our scores. It wasn't that bad, but something I could have done at home if I had just had the notes.

But then of course, I came home, and again... did no revision.
My first exam is in a week, and I am really not looking forward to it. It's my maths one, and I think that I am pretty good at maths, but there are some things that you cannot blag your way through and need to be learnt.

I am also owed a bit of money off my ex, but its proving quite difficult to get it out of him. Oh well...

This could be interesting...

Well now that I have a month off from school, I might as well make some use of my time.
Yeah I know, the reason I have the month off is to revise for my exams, but I detest revision, I just can't seem to physically do it.
So the time that I'm not revising I will put to good use and try and do one of these everyday. It will be a challenge, yes, but also good fun me thinks!

I might as well get started now then...

On Monday I have an excuse for not revising... sort of.
We have this 'lovely' cream carpet in the hall, up the stairs and on the landing, and my parents wanted it cleaned. Of course, my mother did say to the cleaners that the colours probably wasn't one of her better choices.
Anyway, they had to start quite early as it would take 4 hours to dry, so my parents gave me 2 choices. Either stay in my bedroom for 4 hours, not even being able to get out to go to the bathroom, or get out of the house for a while.
So what did I chose? The second option of course! So this meant I was out in town for about 3 hours, until I got bored, which I do quite often!

My excuse for not revising yesterday was that as I was about to revise (honest!), my friend invited me round his because we were both bored! Of course, when his mum got home she presumed that we had been revising due to the sprawled out maths papers left on the kitchen table, when in fact we had been to McDonald's and sat in the garden doing nothing!
We then decided that we were even more bored so went and picked up one of out other mates and went to the park for a bit. Being the teenagers that we are, we soon got bored with the park, but not after we did some physics 'revision' involving a spinning swing and a phone! We headed to Tesco and just sat in the car park talking about stuff that teenagers do (I won't go into detail! There might be children reading!).

And then today my excuse was that I went to Alton Towers! I had a brilliant day, even if I was walking around for most of the day with a headache!

Hopefully tomorrow I should get some revision done, I have to go to school anyway so I'm pretty sure I will!

Long time, no see..

Well, a lot has happened in the 2 months I haven't been on here:
  • I am no longer with my boyfriend. We broke up last month, after he accused me of lying. That is all I am saying on this matter.
  • I passed my driving test!! So I am out and about on the roads of South Wales, but don't worry, but driving isn't that bad!
  • I recieved my January module results last week. I got a B in maths, a C in Physics, and a C in Product Design. However, after discussion with my teachers, I am only going to resit Physics. My Maths teacher said that a B isn't that bad, and as long as I get over 80% in my other modules then I will get an A. My Product Design teacher said that as long as my coursework is good, then I will get a good grade without having to resit.
And on Monday I am off to the Celtic Manor (where the 2010 Ryder Cup is being held), but im not playing golf!
I'm doing a young engineers scheme, and we have to present our findings to some judges. My team, though, were really disappointed with the project we got, so we are going to ask out teacher nicely if we can do it again next year.

2 down, 1 to go!

Well, that is 2 exams out of the way this week.

On Monday I had Maths C1. It wasn't as bad as I thought to be honest, although some of the questions were a bit, 'OMG, shit! I wish i had revised that bit!' Because unless you had, there would have been no way to work out the answer unless you knew how to do it!

We don't get official study leave for January exams, but the school are nice and let you have the day before an exam off, to revise.

I had Physics PH1 on Wednesday, so I had Tuesday off school, and I spent the day at home 'revising'.
Of course, you give anyone the day off school and they wouldn't choose to revise. So I spend the day with my boyfriend, doing absolutely nothing!
But I then realised that night that I should have actually done some revision during the day, so, about half an hour before I was meant to go to bed I picked up my textbook and managed to learn the meaning of one equation.

And, thankfully, I'm glad I did learn it because it did come up in the exam!
Considering I didn't do much revision, I didn't find the exam that difficult. But there were a few questions which you had to know the definitions of, which I didn't learn! Oops!!

My next exam is Product Design on Wednesday, which means I get Tuesday off to 'revise'!
I don't find it that difficult, it's just our teachers haven't gone through how to answer the paper with us, so at the moment out class really don't know what we are doing.

Now I have maths and physics homework to do by Monday, but I am going to Cardiff tomorrow for some retail therapy!

SNOW!!

What an awesome week!!

Now you are probably wondering what the hell I'm going on about. Well us lucky lot in Britain have had a lovely week of snow!
That has meant almost a week off for all us school goers!

I wasn't complaining though! I have a maths exam on Monday, and did absolutely no revision what-so-ever over the Christmas holiday, so I have actually managed to get some done this week!

Problem is, it's meant to snow on Sunday, and my school has told me that I have to go in for the exam anyway, even if the school is closed :(

Ah well, at least I'll get it out of the way :)
